Do You Want to Be Successful?

Associating with negative people who have no initiative will pull you down.  If you want to be successful, you must go where successful people go, do what successful people do, and cultivate friendships with people who have goals and ambitions.  Talk with people who not only have big dreams and big ambitions, but people who make things happen and have made things happen. Lots of people talk a good story, but when it comes down to getting things done, what do they do?  What have they achieved?  What are they accomplishing now?  If your goal is to be a leader, associate with leaders.  Emulate the qualities and behaviors of those people and you will soon find that you are a leader, too.

My dad always said, “If you associate with the best, you will become one of the best.”  Choose your friends and associates for their values and qualities.  Don’t leave your associations to chance.
