When you are planning your schedule, how do you decide what is the most important priority, next priority, etc? Please let me know what helps you plan your schedule and make sure that the most important things are done first.

I loved in Stephen Covey’s book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, that he pointed out that people who are highly effective set priorities and do the important things first.  I have now scheduled an Hour of Power every morning.  This is the time when I do the most critical thing I have to do.  Whatever absolutely must get done this day, I now do first thing.  That way, if I don’t get anything else done, my day is not lost or unproductive.
