FearWhen we do things we haven’t done before or attempt things we’ve only dreamed of, we often feel FEAR.  We might fear getting lost, or not knowing what to do, or looking stupid.  We may fear rejection or that we are not “good enough.”  Fear can paralyze us and keep us from even trying to do the things we’d like to do.  We need to realize that it is natural to feel fear.  But, we must not let it keep us from taking action toward our goals.  When you identify your fear, try to figure out where it came from and why you are letting it into your life now.  Remind yourself of the times you have taken a risk and succeeded.  Take action!  Action cures fear.  Once you begin doing something, it becomes easier and your fears disappear.  If you are passionate about something, you will often plow right through any fears you may have, because the outcome is so important to you.  Staying in our comfort zones doesn’t often bring us the success we desire.  We need to determine our goals and step into the unknown.  When we do this, we are no longer leaving our futures to chance.  We are taking charge.  We are expanding our comfort zones.
